Wild blueberries are a common food in northern Saskatchewan and are sometimes used as medicine. The plants are common in our Boreal Forest and is well adapted to grow profusely after fire.
Leaves are from Vaccinium angustifolium, or a lowbush blueberry are believed to have many potential health benefits, including:
